April 13, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (BDF) Mountaintop Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed pile burn today from 9:00am to 5:00pm as weather and environmental conditions allow. We want to thank the community of the Bear Valley for their continued support as we work to protect our public lands. There are approximately 27 acres planned and firefighters will be monitoring the area until all piles are extinguished.
April 12, 2021 - Evening Update – Today’s burn operations have concluded Front Country Ranger District, there may still be smoke visible through the night, all piles are holding in place and will be in patrol status and monitored. There was a total of 26 acres accomplished today.

April 12, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (BDF) Mountaintop Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed pile burn today from 9:00am to 5:00pm as weather and environmental conditions allow. Winds are 4-5mph out of the south/southwest and carry the smoke away from the community of Baldwin Lake. Fuel moisture from the last several storms is supporting our efforts. With green grasses and shrubs, the ground fuels are proving resistant to fire spread. We want to thank the community of the Bear Valley for their continued support as we work to protect our public lands.
April 12, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (BDF) Front Country Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed pile burn today from 9:00am to 5:00pm as weather and environmental conditions allow.  Residents and visitors in the area of Quail Canyon Road, Del Rosa Avenue, Lomas Privadas Drive, and Daily Canyon Road will see flames and smoke visible throughout the day and evening. There are approximately 25 acres planned and firefighters will be monitoring the area until all piles are extinguished.
March 8, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (BDF) San Jacinto Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed pile burn from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm weather and environmental conditions allowed. There are two locations where prescribed burning will be occurring: Cranston fire station is along HWY 74 just east of the community of Mentone for a total of 10 acres.  
March 9, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (BDF) San Jacinto Ranger District will be conducting pile-burning operations today weather and environmental conditions allowed. Operations will begin around 9:00am and continue until approximately 5:00pm. There is a plan to burn approximately 10 acres occurring around the Banning Fire Station. Residents and visitors will see flames and smoke visible throughout the day and evening. Firefighters will be monitoring the area until all piles are extinguished.
February 17, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (SBNF) Front Country Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed pile burn today from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm weather and environmental conditions allowed. There is approximately 10 acres of burning planned. This will be occurring in the Angelus Oaks Community near the north of unit 5.  Residents and visitors will see flames and smoke visible throughout the day and evening. Firefighters will be monitoring the area until all piles are extinguished.
February 18, 2023 - The San Bernardino National Forest (SBNF) Front Country Ranger District will be continuing a prescribed pile burn today from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm weather and environmental conditions allowed. There are approximately 12 acres of burning planned. This will be occurring in the Angelus Oaks Community near the north of unit 5. Residents and visitors will see flames and smoke visible throughout the day and evening. Firefighters will be monitoring the area until all piles are extinguished.
