Kern River is running fast and dangerous due to melting of record snow levels.  Use caution when recreating near the water.

Water flows out of the dam on Hume Lake as melting snow increases water flow into the reservoir.

The bridge under Highway 180 was washed away at Redwood Creek.  The creek continues to flow due to ongoing snowmelt at higher elevations.

10 Mile Creek flows fast due to spring snow melt on the Sequoia National Forest.
