Location: Brooks County, southwest area of Falfurrias off of HWY 281 and FM 3066
Acreage: approximately 300
Containment: 90% Contained
Texas A&M Forest Service and local fire departments are on scene at the Miller Fire. The fire was patrolled overnight by local resources. Today, engine crews will continue patrol and mop up of smoldering areas.
Weather Concerns: Humidity recovery reached 100% last night. Today, critical fire weather will be present with winds will be 15-25 mph out of the southeast with gusts near 45mph. Humidity values will be around 40% later in the afternoon.
