Closure Order:
A Forest Closure Order remains in effect to protect public health and safety from the effects of the Sawtell Peak Fire.

Thank You Message: The forest echoes Wyoming Team 5’s sentiments. The Island Park community and cooperators have been great partners working through the challenges that come with wildland fires. Thank you for the support given to firefighters and the support team. The generosity of the community is unmatched!  We hope that this incident can keep the conversation going about defensible space and the wildland urban interface.
