Evacuations Lifted: March 24th

March 24, 20229:30am At this time, all evacuation orders have been lifted and there are no road closures. Fire crews are still working in the area so residents should take care when driving through the burned area.There are still distribution sites for donated goods at Eastland 1st Baptist Church, and Wilkes Community Center.

March 17, 20227:30 pmEvacuations have been ordered and are ongoing in multiple areas in Eastland County, Texas. The City of Carbon has been impacted by the fire and Lake Leon is currently being evacuated.

 March 17, 20229:00 pmEvacuations have been ordered and are ongoing in multiple areas in Eastland County, Texas. Due to the northwestern wind shift the approximately 475 homes in the City of Gorman are being evacuated and instructed to head south.
