On Sunday, the fire climbed up the side of Toll Mountain and reached the peak.

View of the South Rim today. Much of the perimeter is stagnating. The only active burns are located at Emory Peak and lower Boot Canyon. Visible flames from the Basin was the trigger point for closing the Basin.
