The BAER geologist discusses the rockfall from steep slopes adjacent to Hwy 30 near Multnomah Falls. Most of the rock along the road has fallen since the fire and has been plowed off the roadway by ODOT.

Rock is sliding across Oneonta Trail near Hwy 30. This is an area with low burn severity, moderate slopes. Loose rock is likely to slide when anyone tries to cross it. Trails on steeper slopes are likely to be more hazar

A view across the Eagle Creek suspension bridge after a support cable pulled free. The bridge and cables hang near the stream. It is proposed for emergency removal before it causes more resource damage.
