Expect brief heavy rainfall.  Temperatures in the mid 80s with relative humidity 20-25%. For smoke information visit: AirNow.gov.Potter Fire: Yesterday there was moderate fire behavior. This fire behavior decreased when temperatures cooled due to cloud cover and some precipitation. Burnout operations were successful in bringing fire safely toward established firelines, this resulted in an increase in total acres. On the south and west flanks firefighters are working to clear vegetation away from Forest Roads 2154 and 2134 as contingency firelines and are monitoring and patrolling fireline along Forest Roads 2136 and 267.Big Swamp Fire: With minimal fire activity yesterday, firefighters strengthened the line along the east flank of the fire. Efforts to establish a fireline down to the Middle Fork of the Willamette River may include installing a sprinkler system to connect an existing dozer line to the riverbank on the north flank near Forest Road 2153. Mop up operations continue on the south and western portions of the fire.Windigo Fire: Minimal fire activity yesterday remained interior to firelines. Resource advisors, firefighters, and heavy equipment operators continue to complete fire suppression repair to mitigate post-fire damages to cultural resources, protects road systems from excessive erosion, and mitigate hazard trees along roads to provide for firefighter and public safety. Resources: 25 hand crews, 18 engines, 8 dozers, 13 water tenders, 6 Type 1 helicopters. Total personnel 956.Closures: For firefighter and public safety, follow the Big Swamp, Windigo, and Potter Fires
