The Dempsey Fire has showed extreme fire activity well into the night and only slowed down with high humidity setting in early this morning, the fire had jumped the Brazos river in multiple places and has jumped FM Rd 4 and Fortune Bend Rd.

Engines where engaged on structure protection last night and continued to patrol the lines and engage flare ups that occurred, dozer crews and additional engine crews have arrived on scene and have began constructing line early this morning.
 
Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) has transitioned command to a type 3 incident commander and continues to work in unified command with Palo Pinto county officials.
