Two Type 1 helicopters and one Type 3 helicopter worked throughout Sunday dropping water on areas of heat within the fire, the fire edge, and areas of the fire in rough and rugged terrain inaccessible to firefighters. This fire is being managed under a full suppression strategy, ensuring all actions reflect a commitment to incident personnel safety and public safety.

Operational plan for today
Division Alpha will continue to work the north and west sides of the fire, and division Delta will continue to work the east edge of the fire allowing resources to be shifted through the divisions if needed.  Division Sierra will continue to access the south side of the fire scouting for possible burn out operation locations.  Firefighters will take advantage of the milder fire conditions continuing direct line construction where accessible.  Aerial resources will continue support of the fire conducting multiple water drops on active areas of the fire and areas inaccessible to firefighters on the ground.   A multi-mission aircraft (MMA) flight is scheduled to fly over the fire area later today to map the fire perimeter and provide an updated acreage.

Shoshone and Arapaho Fish and Game Road Closure
The Shoshone and Arapaho Fish and Game have issued a road closure for the Moccasin Lake and Dickinson Park Road located within the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Fire Conditions and Weather
Sunday night wetting rain showers moved over the fire area.  Showers came to an end early Monday morning ushering in cooler and drier air to the area through Tuesday.  Areas of smoke may be present thought the day.  There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon with upslope/up valley winds 5-10 mph becoming west 10-15mph in the afternoon.  Elevated fire weather returns Wednesday and remains though the rest of the week.
