CURRENT SITUATION:

The River Complex is not included in a Red Flag warning, which has been issued for northern California and southwestern Oregon today. However, with lower humidity there may be an up-tick in fire activity.
Firefighters on the Haypress/Summer Fires continue constructing direct fire containment lines within the southeastern fire perimeter, north and south of Coffee Creek. Additionally, crews are using indirect fire containment lines in areas whe
re terrain and other factors make direct fireline construction too dangerous.

Firefighters on the northeastern perimeter, are working to contain active areas near Fox Creek and Sugar Hill. Crews are working to bring containment lines to existing roads, trail systems, and dozer lines to contain the fire with less impact to the landscape.

The Cronan Fire and northeast of Cecilville on the River Complex has remained in its present footprint.
