PRESS RELEASE: Evacuation Warnings Lifted for the Hay Creek Fire, Polebridge, MT

With the rain we have received in the past two weeks along with cooler temperatures, higher humidity and discussion with the Hay Creek Fire Incident Commander, the evacuation warnings issued between July 22nd and July 26th, 2021 by Flathead County Sheriff's Office has been lifted effective Wednesday, August 18, 2021 for the greater Polebridge Community.

Evacuation Warning Lifted for the following:

  • North Fork Road -All, residents on both sides of the North Fork Road between Sonderson Hall and Home Ranch Bottoms.
  • Sonderson Access Road -All residents that access their home from Sonderson Access Road
  • Moose Creek Road -All residents with driveway access from Moose Creek Road
  • Red Meadow Road -All residents with driveway access from Red Meadow Road
  • Polebridge Loop -All residents that access their home from Polebridge Loop including the Community of Pole bridge
  • lnholders of Glacier National Park

A community meeting has been scheduled Thursday, August 19th at 6:00 pm at the Sonderson Hall.
