The Fire Emergency  Area Closure is defined as follows:The closure area begins at the junction of NFS Rd 5100000 Chewuch and the FS boundary at T36N R21E S35, and follows the FS boundary northwest, then south and west to the northwest corner of T35N R20E S1. From here it follows the southern edge of FSR 5215300 and the eastern edge of FSR 5215 until it reaches Rendezvous Pass in the center of the same section. At this point, the closure boundary follows an unnamed ridge to the northwest, continuing until T36N R20E S15 where it then drops to Goat Creek in T36N R20E S9. The boundary follows Goat Creek north and west to T37N R20E S22 where Cougar Creek joins, then follows Cougar Creek drainage to its  high point at the summit of McLeod Mountain at 8,099 feet, T37N R20E S18. At McLeod Mountain, it follows the Pasayten Wilderness boundary north/east to T39N R23E S30 where it then follows the boundary between the Methow Valley RD and the Tonasket RD/Colville National Forest south to its intersection with NFS Rd 3900000 in T37N R23E S29.  The closure boundary then follows NFS Rd 3900000 and the district boundary south to the intersection of NFS Rd 3900000 and NFS Rd 3700000 in T36N R23E S8. NFS Rd 3700000 is closed west of its intersection with NFS Rd 3900000.  The closure boundary then follows NFS Rd 3700000 south to T36N R23E S22 where it resumes following the district boundary south. At T35N R23E S4, the closure boundary turns southeast skirting the north edge of Trail #358 Beaver Meadow and then Trail #526 Pearrygin Creek to T35N R22E S13, where it then follows an unnamed ridge southeast to the junction of NFS Rds 5009100 and 5009300 in T35N R22E S19. From this point, the closure boundary crosses east to the NFS boundary and then follows it north and west to the starting point in T36N R21E S35.
