The walk back of ready message for Verde Lakes and Beasley Flats:The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office are pleased to announce that due to the diligent efforts of the Incident Management Team and firefighters working on the Backbone Fire that the risks to Verde Lakes and Beasley Flats have been dramatically reduced.

Residents of Verde Lakes and Beasely Flats are no longer in a designated ready area because of the Backbone fire. Please continue to use caution as there will still be First Responders in the area. State Highway 260 remains closed between Fossil Creek Rd and Highway 87.
