Fires
Two fires are burning in the forecast area: The Bobcat, (114,004 61% containment)and the El Dorado (22,616 acres, 83% containment). Yesterday, both fires burned interior with very little to no growth. Evacuation orders have been lifted for the communities of Angelus Oaks and Seven Oaks while evacuation orders remain in place for the Bobcat Fire. see link below for Inciweb for more information

Smoke:
Today, winds will be out of the S-SW with smoke from interior areas burning and dispersing around the fire perimeter and over the Mojave Desert. Afternoon gusts will be around 18 mph. Tonight, downslope winds with an east flow, and remaining from the east until Tuesday with the incoming high pressure. Smoke from fires north of the LA Basin may produce haze and smoke into the area next week.
