Dolan Fire Update 10-11-20

Dolan Fire Wildfire
News – 10/11/2020

As more Divisions surrounding the fire become inactive, equipment is being relocated as necessary to strengthen containment lines in other areas. Fire crews continue to patrol local roads and extinguish any hot spots left behind. Suppression Repair is becoming a focal point to fire operations as work continues to open up closed roads as soon as possible. There have been a few small fires unrelated to the Dolan fire, but near the fire area which have all been quickly contained. Any person who discovers a fire should immediately report it to local authorities.

A high pressure system will move towards the West Coast over the Pacific Ocean, bringing moderate winds from the north gusting to 18 mph over the higher elevations and ridges. Monday the winds will shift more from the northeast, which will push the marine layer back towards the coast and offshore. This will also setup warming weather pattern mid-week and should bring temperatures back near 100 degrees in the valleys, with lower humidities throughout the region. There is no rain forecasted in the near future for the central west coast of California.
