LCSO - Cameron Peak Evacuation Update for Highway 14 from Kelly Flats to Fish Hatchery

News Release, 12:48 pm, October 11, 2020:

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office has updated evacuation information. Cameron Peak fire officials have downgraded the evacuation status from mandatory to voluntary for Highway 14 from Kelly Flats west to the Fish Hatchery. Residents in those evacuation areas may return home but are asked to use caution driving into the area, as utility workers with heavy equipment are still working to restore services and fire personnel will also be present. Please be sure to have proper identification to show residency in those areas, as only residents will be allowed to enter. To view a map of these changes, please visit nocoalert.org. There will still be a significant amount of smoke and fire in the area, as firefighters continue their work. Please do not call 911 unless you are in danger.
