PROHIBITIONS

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551 and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(a), the following act is prohibited within the area described in this Order (the “Restricted Area”) and as depicted on the attached map, hereby incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A, within the Bradshaw Ranger District, Prescott National Forest, Yavapai County, Arizona.

EXEMPTIONS

Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this Order:

1. Persons with a written Forest Service authorization specifically exempting them from the effect of this Order. 2. Any Federal, State, or Local Officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting resource in the performance of an official duty. RESTRICTED AREA

The Restricted Area includes all National Forest System lands within the boundary starting at Forest Road (FR) 94 and the Prescott Forest boundary, then following FR 94 southeast for approximately 2.25 miles to the junction with FR 82A, then following FR 82A northeast for approximately 8 miles to the junction with FR 82, then following northeast along FR 82 for approximately 2 miles to the junction with FR 52, then following east and south along FR 52 for approximately 11 miles to the junction with FR 362, then following FR 362 south approximately 3.0 miles to the private property boundary, then following the private property boundary in a westerly direction for approximately .90 miles to the junction with Forest Trail (FT) 213, then following FT 213 west/northwest for approximately 5 miles to the junction with FR 9246A and FT 214, then following FT 214 south and west for approximately 5 miles to County Road (CR) 60, then following northwest on CR 60 for approximately 1 mile to the Forest boundary, then following north along the Forest boundary for approximately 8.75 miles back to the starting point at the junction with FR 94. PURPOSE To provide the public’s health and safety due to the uncontrolled Cellar Fire on the Prescott National Forest.

IMPLEMENTATION

  1. This Order will be effective on July 24 at 6:00 am, and shall remain in effect until 6:00 am August 23, 2019, or until rescinded, whichever occurs first. A map identifying the Restricted Area is attached and made part of this Order as Exhibit A. Any violation of this prohibition is punishable as a Class B misdemeanor by a fine of not more than $5,000 for individuals and $10,000 for organizations, or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or both (

see 16 U.S.C. § 551, 18 U.S.C. § 3571(b)(6), 18 U.S.C. § 3581 (b)(7)). This Order supersedes any previous Orders prohibiting the same acts covered by this Order.
