Emergency Order No. MBRTB-2018-YMP-202.

A closure order was issued July 22, 2018 for the Silver Creek Fire area on the Routt and Arapaho National Forests, Routt and Grand Counties, Colorado and remains in place.

The order has been created for the entire Sarvis Creek Wilderness and all National Forest System lands adjacent to the east, including the Red Dirt Reservoir area and the National Forest System Road (NFSR) 100, from the junctions of NFSR 250 and NFSR 101 in the southern portion of NFSR 100 to the junction of NFSR 317 in the northern portion of NFSR 100, a distance of approximately 20 miles. The Silver Creek Fire Area Closure is depicted on the attached map, which is incorporated as part of the order.

The purpose of the Order is to provide for public and firefighter safety due to the impacts of the wildland fire and associated fire incident management activities.

The following persons are exempt from this order:

Any federal, state or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force, in the performance of an official duty. Oher persons operating in an official capacity may also be exempted by the agency administrator, per a letter of authorization.

This order is in effect as of July 22, 2018, and remains in effect until rescinded.
