East Zone: Yesterday, crews completed suppression repair around the majority of the eastern perimeter. This included; dispersing berm piles from the dozer blades, repairing fence, removing flagging and restoring stream banks at sites streams were forded.
Crews patrolled the fire line and mopped up any hot spots they find.
The Wilson Campground and Reservoir will be open to the public starting today as the reservoir is no longer needed for the Super Scooper planes to draw water from.
West Zone: Hotshot crews with helitack personnel spiked out for a second night on the northwest flank, working to extinguish a pair of stubborn hot spots/smokes in an aspen grove on the perimeter of the fire. They will continue their mop-up efforts in this area today. An infrared flight mission over the fire area last night showed no heat sources. Demobilization of resources are underway with personnel and equipment being routed to new incidents or their home units.
