When wildfires affect our communities, people naturally want to help. We appreciate the generosity of the community, however firefighters are provided with food, water, and other needed supplies. If you have would like to make a donation to support your community, please check with your local fire department, community food bank, or the Red Cross.
Another way to show your support for firefighters working on the Badger Creek Fire is to post thank you messages to them on the Badger Creek Fire Information Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BadgerCreekFire2018/).
You can also help firefighters by working to make your communities prepared for wildfires. Increase your home’s survivability and your family’s safety during a wildfire by making the right decisions now about defensible space.
