Closure has been terminated as of October 23, 2017

A temporary area and trails closure for the Lion Fire area, within the Golden Trout Wilderness, on the Western Divide Ranger District is in effect. The Forest Order is for the protection of National Forest visitors by preventing entry into the area while wildland fire suppression operations are taking place, helping to ensure both public and firefighter safety.

Trails and roads closed within the Forest Order include:

Bullfrog Lakes (31E05), Little Kern (31E12), Shotgun Pass (32E01), Deep Creek (32E06), Round Meadow (32E14), Mountaineer (32E10), Grey Meadow (32E15), Lewis Camp (33E01), Farwell Gap (31E10), Quinn (31E13, Lion Meadow (32E02), Nelson Cabin Trail (32E08), Jerky Meadow (33E12), Clicks Creeks (32E11), Clicks Creek Cutoff (32E16), Willow Meadow Cutoff (33E14), Wet Meadow (31E11), Newlywed (31E23), Coyote Lakes (32E05), Burnt Corral Meadow (32E13), Summit Trails (31E14), Fish Creek (32E12), Deer (32E17)
