Today will be the last update for the Buck Fire. However, information will be updated as needed at https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/5614/

Current Fire Situation: Tactical firing operations have been completed. Internal islands within the fire perimeter will continue to consume dead and down fuels. Around the remainder of the fire, crews continue to mop up any remaining hot spots that may threaten the containment lines. The contingency resources will also continue with the fire suppression repair on secondary confinement lines. Chipping operations will continue on the 28N10 road.

Weather and Smoke: Today will be partly cloudy becoming sunny in the afternoon with a maximum temperatures of about 65 F with a humidity of about 25% Monday will be sunny, with a maximum temperature around 57 F and minimum humidity 25% to 35% with winds North 8-11 mph. Smoke will continue to diminish and will be less visible in the surrounding areas.
