Creek Fire Update for Sept. 18, 2017

Location: The Creek Fire is located in the Clear Lake/Bourland Mountain Area on the Mi-Wok Ranger District, Stanislaus National Forest. The fire is in a remote area with no structures threatened.

Acres: 652,
Containment: 5%

Summary: Fire activity increased slightly today. Dry weather has made the fuels more available to burn. A low intensity backing fire continues along the ridge from 7290’ toward Forest System (FS) road 3N29 and near FS road 3N27Y towards Bourland Mountain. Prep work will continue from Clear Lake to Lily Creek and near Box Springs.
