Norse Peak Fire Announcement

State Route 410 will remain closed through the holiday

Because of increased fire activity and the interest of public and firefighter safety, State Route 410 will remain closed from Chinook Pass to the to the entrance of Bumping River Road through Labor Day (Sept. 4). Fire and Department of Transportation officials will reevaluate the situation at that time. Travelers should seek an alternative route.

Bumping River Road remains open.

Forest Service Road 1900 also is closed at the intersection of 1900 and 1902 roads. Kaner Flat and Little Naches campgrounds and the summer homes on the Idle Hour Tract are accessible.
