FIRE EMERGENCY CLOSURE - FREMONT-WINEMA NATIONAL FOREST

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. §551 and Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations §261.50(b), the following acts are prohibited on the following described National Forest System Roads and Trails located on the Klamath Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest, as described below and shown on attached Exhibit A.
PROHIBITION: (1) BEING UPON A CLOSED ROAD
(2) BEING ON A CLOSED TRAIL

The Forest Service Roads (FSR) and Trails listed below will be closed to public access due to hazards or hazardous situations created as a result of the North Pelican Fire. This prohibition will become effective immediately upon the time and date of the signature on this Order and will remain in effect until December 31, 2017 or until rescinded.
FSR 3519 in its entirety; starting at its junction with County Road 531 (Westside Road) in Township 35 South, Range 6 East, Section 2 W.M., northwest to its terminus.
FSR 3500350 in its entirety; starting at its junction with County Road 531 (Westside Road) in Township 35 South, Range 6 East, Section 11 W.M., northwest then west to its terminus.
FSR 3556 in its entirety; starting at its junction with County Road 531 (Westside Road) in Township 36 South, Range 6 East, Section 4 W.M., north to its terminus.
FSR 3651; starting at its junction with FSR 3458 in Township 35 South, Range 5 East, Section 26 W.M., north to its terminus at Cold Spring Trailhead.
FSR 3659 in its entirety; starting at its junction with FSR 3651 in Township 35 South, Range 5 East, Section 13 W.M., west then north to its terminus.
Trail 3709, in its entirety.
Trail 3710, in its entirety.
Trail 3762, between its junction with Trail 3709 and Trail 3710.

Pursuant to Title 36 C.F.R. §261.50(e), the following are exempt from this Order:
Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. "Person" means natural person, corporation, company, partnership, trust, firm, or association of persons. "Permit" means authorization in writing by a Forest Officer. "Forest Officer" means an employee of the Forest Service.
Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
