FIRE EMERGENCY CLOSURE - FREMONT-WINEMA NATIONAL FOREST

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. §551 and Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations §261.50(b), the following acts are prohibited on the following described National Forest System Roads and Trails located on the Klamath Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest, as described below and shown on attached Exhibit A.
PROHIBITION: (1) BEING UPON A CLOSED ROAD
(2) BEING ON A CLOSED TRAIL

The Forest Service Roads (FSR) and Trails listed below will be closed to public access due to hazards or hazardous situations created as a result of the Blanket Creek Fire. This prohibition will become effective immediately upon the time and date -of the signature on this Order and will remain in effect until December 31, 2017 or until rescinded.
FSR 3282 in its entirety; starting at its junction with FSR 3228 in Township 33 South, Range 6 East, Section 3 W.M. north to its terminus.
FSR 3228 in its entirety; starting at its junction with FSR 3200 in Township 33 South, Range 6 East, Section 2 W.M. west and north to its terminus.
FSR 3208 in its entirety; starting at its junction with FSR 3200 in Township 33 South, Range 6 East, Section 11 W.M. west and southwest to its terminus.
FSR 3134 in its entirety; starting at its junction with FSR 3300 in Township 33 South, Range 6 East, Section 14 W.M. north and southwest to its terminus.
Trail 3703 in its entirety; starting at the trailhead (Township 33 South, Range 6 East, Section 20 W.M.) southwest to its intersection with Trail 2000 (Township 33 South, Range 5 East, Section 24, W.M.).

Pursuant to Title 36 C.F.R. §261.S0(e), the following are exempt from this Order:
Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. "Person" means natural person, corporation, company, partnership, trust, firm, or association of persons. "Permit" means authorization in writing by a Forest Officer. "Forest Officer" means an employee of the Forest Service.
Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
