Smoke

SE winds will be light this morning. A complex

wind pattern will result in NW and SW flow within this large

forecast area this afternoon. The wind today will continue

to push smoke from the Horse Creek Complex, and Rebel

Fire to the southeast over the crest. Winds over the

Whitewater fires may push smoke to the NE. Smoke will be

widespread through the forecast area with moderate

impacts. Expect smoke to persist in valleys and canyons.

Fire activity is expected to be moderate to active

today due to the higher temperatures, lower relative

humidity and slightly decreased stability.

Other
Expect low visibility on Highway 20, Highway 22,

Highway 126 and Highway 97.
