Incident: Orleans Complex Wildfire

Heavy smoke impacts are expected today in the Klamath River area due to several active fires in the region. Northeasterly winds will drift smoke to the south and downhill into drainages. The majority of impacts will be in the Happy Camp, Seiad Valley and Sawyers Bar areas where unhealthy conditions are expected. Smoke will continue to drift south down the Klamath River drainage affecting Somes Bar, Weitchpec, Hoopa and further. These areas are expected to see periods of USG (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups). Coastal communities will receive smoke overhead, possibly reaching the surface. Scott Valley communities will see hazy conditions.
