Smoke Outlook for Northwest California Fires - August 5

Incident: Orleans Complex Wildfire
Released: 8/5/2017

With winds continuing to be out of the southwest, Scotts Valley and communities upriver of Northwest California fires may continue to see air quality conditions in the unhealthy for sensitive groups and unhealthy today. Downriver communities may see overall good/moderate conditions today. Intensity of the smoke will continue to depend on the activity of these fires. Regional fires continue to contribute to the degrading air quality.
