National Forest System Roads and Trails Public Health and Safety
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.S0(a) and (b), when provided by an order, the following are prohibited:
Being on the road. (36 CFR 261.54e) Being on the trail. (36 CFR 261.55a)
Going into or being upon an area. (36 CFR 261.52e)
These restrictions apply to the area, National Forest System Roads and Trails on the Lincoln Ranger District, as described below (see Closure Area Map):
The area closure boundary includes on the West side: Beaver Creek Road (NFSR 4106) from the Forest boundary in Section 33, TISN, R9W, then due north to the boundary of the Scapegoat Wilderness. The area closure boundary on the north is the Scapegoat Wilderness boundary starting from ½ mile west of Arrastra Mountain to the junction of Copper Camp Road (NFSR 771-A I), then following (but not including) the Copper Creek Road (NFSR 330) alignment to Snowbank Lake. The area closure boundary on the east is 500 feet west of Copper Creek from Snowbank Lake to the Forest Boundary in Section 26, TISN, R8W. The area closure on the south side is the Forest Boundary from Copper Creek Road (NFSR 330) then west to Beaver Creek Road (NFSR 4106) along but not including the Sucker Creek Road (NFSR 1800).
These restrictions apply to the roads as described below (see Closure Area Map): Forest Roads 330B, 607, 607C, 607D, 607E, 607F, 1804A, 1821, 1832, 1881A, 1881B, 1881C, 1881F and 4106.
These restrictions apply to the trails as described below (see Closure Area Map): Forest Trails 417, 418, 482, 485, Porcupine Basin Trail 488 in Section 23, Tl SN, RI OW 488
These restrictions are in support of the Park Creek Fire operations and will remain in effect until rescinded.
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this Order:
1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or om1ss10n.
2. Any Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement Officer or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty.
These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFR Part 261, Subpart A.
