Lolo National Forest Manages Lolo Peak Fire

The Lolo National Forest, Missoula Ranger District has assumed management of the Lolo Peak Fire under a Type 4 Incident Command Structure, led by Incident Commander Stryker Clark. Incident information will continue to be posted on Inciweb. The following trails remain closed due to unstable trail tread conditions: Mill Peak Trail, NFST #1310, Lantern Ridge Trail , NFST #309, and Lolo Peak Trail, NFST#1311 (Please see Closure Order #092) on the closure section). Forest Closure Order #050 has been amended to significantly reduce the area under closure. Please exercise caution when entering a burned area.
