Mt. Lemmon Opening to the Public

The Burro Fire ignited on Friday, June 30, 2017 northeast of Tucson. Thanks to the amazing work by hundreds of people, the fire is now 95 percent contained. We are excited to announce Mt. Lemmon Highway will reopen to the public tomorrow, July 14, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department urges you to drive with care as fire vehicles and ground personnel will still be present.
