SMOKE SETTLES IN THE HIGHWAY 93 CORRIDOR
Incident: NZ Prescribed Fire 2017 Prescribed Fire
NORTH FORK, IDAHO – Earlier today, the North Zone of the Salmon-Challis National Forest began implementation of the Crone Gulch and Lick Creek prescribed fire projects. Due to evening and nighttime cooling, dense smoke is settling into the Highway 93 corridor between North Fork and Lost Trail Pass. Motorists are advised to please use caution while driving this section of highway and observe any posted signs in the area.
