Conditions in line for continued prescribed burning

Prairie City Fire Officials have announced planned ignitions in the Knox project area for today, Tuesday, May 23 with goals of accomplishing 150 acres of prescribed burning.


On the south end, the Emigrant Creek Ranger District completed ground ignitions on Monday, with potential for aerial ignitions today, Tuesday, May 23 in the George project area.

Blue Mountain Ranger District continues to prep the Crawford project area for future ignitions.
