Small Prescribed Burns Accomplished on May 4

Several small burn units were ignited on May 4th in the Pomeroy and Walla Walla Districts. The units, totaling 45 acres in Walla Walla District and 50 acres in Pomeroy District, were post-harvest slash reduction burns. All of the ignitions were successfully accomplished and will be in patrol mode. The Walla Walla units were ZigZag units 18, 19, 23, and 31 located on WW Map 3. The Pomeroy unit, called Sweeney, is located 22 miles west of Dayton, WA at Township 9 North, Range 42 East, section 26 (no map is on the inciweb site).
