The east and south sides of the fire are secure, and there’s very little heat near the perimeter.

Twisp River Fire (11,222 acres, 98 percent contained): Crews are patrolling, mopping up, and starting suppression repair.

Nine Mile Fire (4,720 acres, 98 percent contained): The fire is being monitored by air.

CHELAN COMPLEX

Firefighters constructed hand line and dozer line near Hungry Mountain. The fire is backing downslope but has not crossed St. Luise Creek. Helicopters made numerous water drops on the northwest corner of the fire. The southwest and east sides of the fire are cold, and crews will be initiating suppression repair in the upcoming days.
