Grizzly Bear Complex Fire grows to 82,659 acres.

The Grizzly Bear Complex continues to pick up acreage as it moves through unburned pockets of fuel within the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness. Fire activity was observed yesterday on Grizzly Bear Ridge and in the Rock Creek drainage. Firefighters successfully completed the burn-out operation around the Slick Ear cabins and will continue to mop up the line, clean up the area and remove sprinklers and wrap from the cabins. The closure area remains in effect.
