Pursuant to 36 CFR, Sec. 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited in the area described in this order within the Pomeroy and Walla Walla Ranger District on the Umatilla National Forest beginning on September 4, 2015 at 00:01 until further notice:

1) It is prohibited to go into or be in the area described below and shown on the map in Appendix A (36 CFR 261.53 (e));The area within the following boundaries: Starting at the junction of Forest Service Road (FSR) 64 & FSR 6415, then following FSR 6415 east to the junction of FSR 6415 and FSR 6413. Then follow FSR 6413 to the junction with FSR 62. From the junction of FSR 6413 and FSR 62 southeast to Alder Springs, follow Alder Creek to the Grande Ronde River.

Following the Grande Ronde River east to the Umatilla National Forest Boundary then following the Umatilla National Forest boundary north and east to where County Road 162 becomes FSR 40. Following FSR 40 north and northwest to the junction with FSR4022. Follow FSR 4022 to the junction of FSR 4022-020 go south to Sheep Creek and follow Sheep Creek to FSR 4712 at the Tucannon Trailhead. Following FSR 4712 west to its junction with FSR 47 at Panjab Campground. Following FSR 47 north to its junction with FSR 4620. Following FSR 4620 north and west to the USFS boundary. Then following the USFS boundary south to FSR 46 then south on FSR 46 to Godman Guard Station. Following FSR 46 west to the junction with Forest Trail 3240 then southwest along Forest Trail 3240 to FSR 64 at the Touchet Corral Snow Park. Following the FSR 64 south to the FSR 64 and 6415 junction. 2) It is prohibited to use any type of traffic on the following roads (36 CFR 261.54(c)); · FSR 6415· FSR 6413 from the junction of FSR 6415 to FSR 62 · FSR 40 from Misery Spring south to County Road 162.· FSR 4712 from Ladybug Campground to the Tucannon Trailhead· FSR 46 from the Forest Service boundary where it meets County Road 1424 south to its junction of FSR 64.· FSR 64 from Touchet Corral Sno-Park to the junction of FSR 6415. · FSR 65 from Deduct Trailhead north and east to its junction with FSR 64.

Pursuant to 36 CFR, Sec. 261.50 (e), the following persons are exempt from this order:

1) Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the prohibited act or omission.2) Any Federal, State or local law enforcement officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.

These prohibitions are in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFR Part 261,
