King BAER Assessment Report Released

The Eldorado National Forest received $3,117,177 for emergency land stabilization activities on federal lands burned by the King Fire. The emergency measures are designed to decrease possible impacts to downstream values-at-risk from the King burned area such as: human life, health and safety, property, critical natural resources, and cultural resources. NOTE: Attached as a PDF document to this article is the King BAER Assessment Team's emergency stabilization report (see right side for the King BAER 2500-8 Interim1 Report in PDF format).
