KING FIRE NEWS ADVISORY

September 27, 2014 4:00 PM

Camino - The King Incident and cooperating agencies announce today, Saturday September 27, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. that the Evacuation Advisory for the areas of Quintette and Volcanoville has been lifted.

Road closures of Mosquito Road at Wentworth Road, Mosquito Road at Stope Drive, and Icehouse Road at Highway 50 will still remain in place due to fire equipment and activity in the area. Use caution as emergency vehicles continue to work and travel through the area.

Cooperating Agencies: California Highway Patrol, Red Cross, Caltrans, Cal Office of Emergency Services, El Dorado Irrigation District, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Sierra Pacific Industries, Pacific Gas & Electric, Placer County Water Agency, Placer County Sheriffs, California Conservation Corps and El Dorado County Animal Services.
