Forest Officials Amend South Fork Complex Closure for Hunter Access

Incident: South Fork Complex Wildfire
Released: 10/29/2014

John Day, Oregon- After further consideration, Forest Officials will further reduce the South Fork Complex closure.

Effective immediately, the South Fork Complex closure area is now open to non-motorized cross country travel. Motorized cross country travel within the closure area boundary remains closed.

Road closure for the portion of Forest Service Road 24 from the forest boundary east to Forest Service Road 270 at Dewey Creek will remain closed until further notice due to hazard trees and falling rocks.
