The Oil Springs Fire is 97 percent contained as of the end of shift tonight. Great Basin Incident Management Team 3 will transition command of the fire to a Type 4 organization on July 3 at 6 a.m. The fire is in monitor status with crews patrolling containment lines around the fire perimeter.
Barring unforeseen developments, this will be the final update from Great Basin Team 3 for the Oil Springs Fire.
