Narrative: Drought-stressed pinyon-juniper and sagebrush. Sagebrush has not been carrying fire with little to no grass-loading present.

A shift from the dry and windy conditions will occur Wednesday as a surge of monsoonal moisture works north across Arizona and into the Four Corners region. This will bring isolated to scattered thunderstorms to southwest Colorado by late Wednesday afternoon with initial storms producing little to no rain but gusty outflow winds.
