The Vader Fire, reported July 19 in the afternoon is 100% contained. The fire is located approximately 13 miles northwest of Stanley, south of Highway 21 on the Middle Fork Ranger District. The fire burned in lodgepole pine stands with heavy dead and down fuels. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Planned Actions

Hold, patrol, and mop up near existing fireline and within the interior. Rehab and repair effected areas. Provide initial attack response in support of the local unit.

perimeter of fire.
