The Hub Point Fire was reported on July 27, 2018. It is located two miles east of Pinedale, Navajo County, Arizona on the Lakeside Ranger District in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Ken Owens' Type 4 team is assigned to the incident. It is burning in timber, brush and short grass, with moderate fire behavior. They will be holding the lines using the current road system and will be burning fuels along those roads to strengthen the containment lines. The fire strategy is full suppression.
