The focus for fire resources today was to continue suppression repair, patrol the fires edge and mop up interior islands of unburned fuel. Crews made good progress on fire suppression repair today. Based on today’s progress we anticipate completion by mid-day Friday.

Significant Events | fire has minimal activity besides isolated smoldering within interior islands. Potential for sagebrush stump holes to show some smoke. |
Planned Actions | Resources will continue to monitor and patrol the fire's edge and significant interior islands, and conduct mopup and suppression repair. |
Projected Incident Activity | Minimal fire activity is expected and threats to values are minimal. Large interior unburned vegetative islands will be assessed for heat with the intent to protect remaining sage grouse habitat and forage. Suppression repair is being assessed. As dry thunderstorms move through the area producing outflow winds, the current fireline will be tested. |
