The Deer Fire is a lightning caused fire discovered on July 13 at 8 a.m. three miles northeast of Kehl Springs Campground on FR300.
This fire is 800 acres in size on July 27 at 8 a.m. and may have burnout operations through the weekend.
Resources assigned to this fire are Arizona's Winslow Type II crew, Blue Ridge Fuels crew, three engines and several overhead positions.
The expected operational area of the fire is 1,800 acres.
Smoke from this fire may affect C.C. Cragin Reservoir, Blue Ridge Ranger Station and communities in the Blue Ridge area.
