The Rain Fire located approximately 1 mile east of the Grand Canyon Airport is now 604 acres in size. The fire has transitioned to a Type 4 organization On Sunday 07/29/18.

Crews are continuing with actions to secure perimeters and protect resources. Burn out operations are complete at this time.
The fire has reached its full potential for growth and is now holding within all containment lines. Smoke will begin to diminish rapidly over the next few days.
