The Upriver Beacon fire began at 4pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 near the 6400 block of East Upriver Drive, in Spokane, WA. Initial attack firefighters utilizing multiple aircraft stopped the fire at 115 acres that evening. One home and multiple outbuildings were lost. No serious injuries were reported.

Washington State Fire Mobilization was approved and resources from across the state arrived and provided assistance to the local jurisdictions.
